"Two by Two” is a gospel-centered podcast hosted by Chloe Roberts and Elaina Albaugh, inspired by the mission of Luke 10:1–9. Just as Jesus sent out His followers in pairs, Chloe and Elaina explore what it means to walk out the Gospel together—in community, in courage, and in everyday life. Chloe and Elaina tackle real-life faith, friendship, purpose, and what it looks like to follow Jesus right where you are. Think honest stories, practical takeaways, and lots of laughter—because pursuing God together is always better than doing it alone.

episode The relationship between faith & works | Two by Two Ep. 6 cover

The relationship between faith & works | Two by Two Ep. 6

In this episode, we talk through one of the most common questions Christians wrestle with: if we’re saved by grace, where do good works fit in? Do they matter—and if so, how? We unpack the simple but powerful truth that salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone. It’s not something we earn, and it’s not based on how good, consistent, or put-together we are. Salvation is a gift of grace, fully paid for by Christ, and nothing we do can add to it or take away from it. But that doesn’t mean works are meaningless. We discuss how real faith naturally shows itself in how we live. Good works don’t save us, but they do point to a faith that’s alive and genuine. When someone truly trusts Jesus, it begins to shape their choices, their relationships, and the way they love others—not out of pressure, but as a response to grace. We also touch on passages that often confuse people, especially the tension between Paul’s emphasis on faith and James’s statement that faith without works is dead. Instead of contradicting each other, they actually paint a fuller picture of what authentic faith looks like: grace saves us, faith connects us to Christ, and works flow from a changed heart. This episode is an encouragement to stop striving for salvation and start resting in grace, while also asking honest questions about the fruit our faith is producing. We don’t obey God to earn His love—we obey because we already have it. 🎙️ Where to find us? linktr.ee/TheTwoByTwoPodcast

episode Lukewarm Christianity | Two by Two Ep. 5 cover

Lukewarm Christianity | Two by Two Ep. 5

A faith we’ve wrestled with ourselves. This podcast explores the reality of lukewarm Christianity—the comfort it offers, the confusion it creates, and the quiet dangers of staying halfway in. We talk honestly about what it looks like to believe in God while keeping Him at arm’s length, and how easy it is to settle for a faith that feels safe, familiar, and convenient rather than transformative. Our conversations are rooted in personal experience. We’ve walked through seasons of complacency, doubt, and surface-level belief, and we understand why lukewarm faith is so appealing—and so hard to recognize when you’re living in it. That’s why this space isn’t about judgment or shame, but about clarity, compassion, and truth. We wrestle with hard questions, cultural Christianity, and the subtle ways faith can become more about habit than heart. With honesty, grace, and biblical grounding, we challenge ourselves and our listeners to examine their walk with God and ask whether it’s marked by comfort or surrender. This podcast is an invitation to move beyond half-hearted faith into something deeper, more intentional, and alive—while honoring the process, the struggle, and the grace that meets us in between. 🎙️ Where to find us! linktr.ee/TheTwoByTwoPodcast

episode Why does God allow bad things to happen to "good" people? | Two by Two Ep. 2 cover

Why does God allow bad things to happen to "good" people? | Two by Two Ep. 2

This episode discusses infant loss and may be tender for some listeners. Why does a good God allow painful things to happen to faithful or "good" people? It’s a question believers have wrestled with for generations—often most deeply in seasons of loss. In this episode, we explore the tension between God’s goodness and human suffering through both Scripture and lived experience. Elaina vulnerably shares how God met her and her husband, Grant, in the heartbreaking loss of their infant daughter, Atleigh. Rather than offering easy answers, this conversation reflects on how God’s presence, nearness, and faithfulness were revealed in the midst of grief—and how walking through unimaginable sorrow drew them into deeper dependence on Him. This episode is for anyone who has asked “why,” felt shattered by loss, or wondered where God is in the middle of pain. Together, we reflect on how God can use even the darkest valleys to draw His children closer to Himself and shape a faith that leans fully on His strength. 🎙️ Where to find us linktr.ee/TheTwobyTwoPodcast

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
