episode John 12:27-36 — Jesus Chose the Cross cover

John 12:27-36 — Jesus Chose the Cross

Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿 In today’s message from John 12:27–36, we step into a deeply emotional moment in the life of Jesus as He approaches the cross. Though His soul was troubled, Jesus chose obedience, surrender, and the glory of the Father over escape from suffering. At the center of this passage is a powerful truth: Jesus embraced the darkness of the cross so that we could walk in the light of life. In this message, we reflect on: - The humanity of Jesus and His real anguish before the cross - Why the cross was not an accident or “Plan B,” but the very reason Jesus came - How what looked like defeat was actually victory over sin, darkness, and death - Jesus’ invitation to walk in the light before darkness overtakes us The crowd struggled to understand a Messiah who would suffer and die. But Jesus reveals that true glory would come not through avoiding the cross—but through embracing it. This passage calls us not only to admire Jesus, but to believe Him, follow Him, and walk in His light while we have the opportunity. May this service encourage you to trust the Savior who willingly walked into suffering so that we could experience life, hope, and freedom through Him. #John12 #WalkInTheLight #JesusAndTheCross #HopeInChrist #TheVineChurch

episode Mother’s Day 2026 cover

Mother’s Day 2026

Welcome to our Mother’s Day Worship Service at The Vine! 🌿 This Sunday, we celebrated and honored the many women represented in our church family — mothers, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, those rejoicing, those grieving, those still waiting, and those faithfully praying through difficult seasons. We also enjoyed a special video message from our kids, reminding us of the love, encouragement, and impact mothers and women have in our lives. Our message came from Matthew 15:21–28, where we encounter a mother whose desperate situation led her to Jesus with bold and persistent faith. Despite obstacles, silence, and discouragement, she refused to walk away. At the center of this passage is a powerful truth: Real faith refuses to quit until it reaches Jesus. In this message, we reflect on: - A desperate mother who ran to Jesus in faith - How silence and waiting can deepen persistent trust - The humility and perseverance that mark genuine faith - The mercy of Jesus toward those who continue seeking Him This story reminds us never to underestimate what God can do through one praying mother—or through anyone who continues trusting Jesus when the answer doesn’t come immediately. Whether today was joyful, difficult, hopeful, or heavy for you, our prayer is that this service points you to the compassion, mercy, and faithfulness of Christ. #MothersDay #FaithThatPersists #Matthew15 #TrustJesus #TheVineChurch

episode John 12:20–26 — Sacrifice cover

John 12:20–26 — Sacrifice

Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿 In today’s message from John 12:20–26, we see a turning point in Jesus’ ministry. As people begin seeking Him from beyond Israel, Jesus speaks about what His true glory will look like—not in power displays, but in sacrifice. At the center of this passage is a powerful truth: True life and lasting glory are found through dying to self and following Jesus in sacrificial surrender. Using the image of a seed falling to the ground, Jesus shows us that there is no fruit without death. What appears like loss is often the very path to life, growth, and eternal impact. In this message, we explore: - How Jesus’ glory is most clearly seen through the cross - Why fruitfulness requires surrender - What it truly means to follow Jesus—not just admire Him - The three marks of a disciple: a new value system, a new direction, and a new promise Jesus calls us beyond surface-level belief into a life of real discipleship—one that costs something, but leads to something far greater. This passage challenges us to ask: Are we holding on to our lives, or are we willing to trust Jesus enough to surrender them? Because the path may be costly—but the reward is eternal. #John12 #FollowJesus #TrueDiscipleship #FaithInAction #TheVineChurch

episode John 12:12–19 — Hosanna cover

John 12:12–19 — Hosanna

Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿 In today’s message from John 12:12–19, we look at Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem—a moment filled with celebration, expectation, and misunderstanding. The crowds welcomed Jesus with praise, shouting “Hosanna!” and declaring Him King. But while they celebrated, many were expecting a different kind of king—one who would meet their immediate desires and reshape their circumstances. Instead, Jesus came as the King they truly needed. At the center of this passage is a challenging truth: If we try to shape Jesus into the King we want, we may miss Him as the King He truly is. In this message, we reflect on: - How the crowd praised the King they wanted—not the King they had - Why Jesus’ humility (riding on a donkey) reveals the kind of King He is - The reality that we don’t always understand what God is doing in the moment - How everyone responds to Jesus—but not everyone truly believes This passage invites us to examine our own expectations. Are we following Jesus for who He truly is, or for who we want Him to be? May this service lead us to trust Jesus more fully—not just in the moments we understand, but also in the moments we don’t. #John12 #TriumphalEntry #JesusIsKing #FollowJesus #TheVineChurch

episode John 11:55-12:11 — He is Worthy cover

John 11:55-12:11 — He is Worthy

Welcome to this week’s worship service at The Vine! 🌿 In today’s message, we continue through the Gospel of John, arriving at a powerful and deeply personal moment in John 12:1–11. At a dinner in Bethany, three very different responses to Jesus are on display—and each one reveals something about the heart. Mary responds with extravagant worship, pouring out costly perfume at Jesus’ feet. Judas responds with criticism, masking a lack of devotion behind seemingly practical concerns. Meanwhile, others are drawn in, curious or believing, while opposition continues to grow. At the center of it all is this truth: Your response to Jesus reveals what He is worth to you. In this message, we reflect on: - What it means to worship Jesus with our best—not our leftovers - How true devotion is often costly, personal, and wholehearted - The danger of hiding a lack of devotion behind “practicality” or criticism - The reality that Jesus always calls for a response—we cannot stay neutral Mary’s act filled the room with fragrance. In the same way, a life fully surrendered to Jesus leaves a lasting impact. This service invites us to ask honest questions: Is our devotion to Jesus convenient—or costly? Are we holding anything back? What would it look like to “break the jar” in our own lives? May this message lead you to deeper worship, greater surrender, and a clearer understanding of who Jesus is. #John12 #TrueWorship #CostlyDevotion #FollowJesus #TheVineChurch

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
