In this episode, I talk with Abbie Burgess, a Killingly High School graduate, where she is the all-time leader in goals scored and current dual sport Division I athlete. She currently plays soccer and track at Central Connecticut State University. We highlight the path she took to become the talented soccer player she is, the process of going on to play in college, different types of adversity like injuries and the mental side of things, the transfer portal, having track and field as an outlet, and just kind of finding yourself and doing things that make you happy while continuing to work hard in pursuit of your goals.
