How to Rewire Your Brain with NLP: Master Confidence & Silence Negative Self-Talk

Click if you're cool:https://linktr.ee/therapysessionpodThis episode is a conversation between the hosts and a guest who is a practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a mindset coach. The discussion centers on how to rewire the brain to overcome negative self-talk, build confidence, and navigate life's challenges. Here is a summary of the key topics and techniques discussed:What is NLP and Rewiring the BrainDefinition: NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming [07:16]. It studies how our brains use language, habits, body language, and memories to form mental "programs" that can keep us moving forward or, often, keep us stuck Neuroplasticity: The fundamental concept is that the brain is plastic (neuroplasticity), meaning it is changing and being programmed constantly. You have a choice to either let it run on autopilot or to actively choose how to rewire itBrain's Default Setting: The brain is fundamentally wired to keep us safe (fear/fight-or-flight response), not necessarily successful or happy. The methods discussed aim to change that default wiring Techniques for Mindset Change and ConfidenceThe "Name it, Claim it, Reframe it" Exercise: This three-step process is recommended for immediately addressing negative self-talk, such as calling yourself "stupid" after a mistake:Name it: Acknowledge the thought (e.g., "I made a mistake, I'm human") Claim it: Take responsibility (e.g., "I didn't do what I needed to do here") Reframe it: Change the narrative to a positive lesson (e.g., "I made this mistake because I'm learning how to do this better, and now I know what not to do the next time") Heb's Theory ("Fires together, Wires together"): Consistent thoughts create neural pathways. You must choose the "new path" (positive thoughts and actions) over the well-trodden "old path" (negative habits). Each time you choose the new path, you clear the brush, making it easier to take next time, while the old one grows over Confidence Stacking: Confidence is described as a strategy that is built with consistency, not something you are born with . The hosts suggest focusing on small, daily wins, such as getting out of bed with fewer snoozes, and documenting them in a gratitude journal to reinforce positive self-perception

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
