episode CISUMMI — Leaving Paris to Start Over in New York cover

CISUMMI — Leaving Paris to Start Over in New York

What do you do when you've already "made it" — and it still isn't enough? CISUMMI joins Tiny Table Radio for a conversation about leaving a built career behind, the discipline of patience, and refusing to let an algorithm shape his taste. CISUMMI built a DJ career in Paris, playing the big rooms, before deciding that real growth meant starting from zero in New York — the most competitive city he could find. He grew up between France, Spain, and Benin, and that multicultural ear is the throughline of his sound: West African rhythm, European melody, and the conviction that every culture has its own musical codes worth learning. We talk about the friend who pushed him to build his own studio, why he became more selective about the rooms he plays, what AI is really doing to music, the daily habit that keeps his crate-digging honest, and what the name CISUMMI means when you read it backwards. It's a conversation about patience, preparation, and the quiet years of believing in something before anyone else can see it. 🎵 About CISUMMICISUMMI is a DJ and producer based in Brooklyn by way of France, Spain, and Benin — vibrant, travel-shaped music he calls an ode to the world's cultures. His MoBlack-signed track "DIKEBO" has passed 1M plays, and he's preparing for a major show alongside Francis Mercier in New York on June 13th. 🎙 About Tiny Table Radio Tiny Table Radio shares the stories and sounds from the creative underground — house music, culture, and community, live from Brooklyn, NYC. 🔗 ConnectInstagram → https://instagram.com/cisummi [https://instagram.com/cisummi]_

episode Bea Trinidad — What 20 Years of Dancing Does to Your DJ Sets cover

Bea Trinidad — What 20 Years of Dancing Does to Your DJ Sets

What does two decades of dance training do to your ear — and your DJ sets? Bea Trinidad joins Tiny Table Radio for a conversation about reclaiming music from obligation, finding community in the underground, and the debut EP she's been working toward her whole life. Bea spent 20 years as a trained dancer before stepping behind the decks — not because she was supposed to, but because she finally made the choice herself. Growing up Filipino in NYC, music was structured and expected. It was classical. It was practice. Getting into DJing was the first time music became entirely hers. We talk about what it felt like to stumble into promoting events for Possession — one of the most respected underground queer techno collectives in Europe — and what that experience taught her about what community actually means in underground music. She talks about learning to say no, about the research and vinyl digging behind every set, and about the EP she's building from Asian sounds — a project that's been taking shape for years and will arrive this summer. This is a conversation about the gap between music as obligation and music as identity — and what it takes to finally close it. 🎵 About Bea Trinidad NYC-born Filipina DJ rooted in house music and the underground. 20+ years of dance training behind every set she plays. Debut EP — drawing on Asian musical influences — coming summer 2026. episode Sanvero — Building a Career in House Music Before They Were Ready cover

Sanvero — Building a Career in House Music Before They Were Ready

What if you took the gig before you were ready, and it worked? Sanvero — the Brooklyn duo of Nico Castillo and Cesco — joins Tiny Table Radio for a conversation about fast-tracking a career that usually takes years, finding your sound after years of genre-hopping, and what it costs to build something real in a city full of shortcuts. Nico and Cesco met through mutual friends at NYU, started playing together during the pandemic, and built their initial reputation on a NYC rooftop where they weren't supposed to be — folding table, cable dropped through an apartment window, a few friends and a couple of brave strangers. Within a year, they were on lineups with bigger acts than they'd earned. Not because they were the best, but because they were proactive, played for free, and made a deliberate choice to collaborate with producers way more experienced than them — coming second on the billing by design, using other people's networks to get their music in front of rooms it never would have reached otherwise. We talk about the rebrand from Space Tiger to Sanvero, what the name means, and the eight-hour drive from Santiago where it finally clicked. Nico tells the story of the breakup that freed up a week at Thanksgiving and how he spent it buried in Ableton instead. And they get into what the NYC house music scene looks like right now — smaller venues, community-first culture, no-phone rooms — and why they think this moment is something worth paying attention to. Two people from opposite ends of the world, figuring out a sound together in Brooklyn. That's the whole story. 🎵 About SanveroSanvero is Nico Castillo and Cesco (Francesco), a Brooklyn-based DJ and production duo. The name is a portmanteau of Santiago and Verona — the cities they're each from. Their sound sits at the intersection of deep house, Afro house, and melodic progressive. Their music has been supported by major names in the scene, and they're heading into 2026 with new releases including their first EP on Fluke Lab. 🎙 About Tiny Table RadioTiny Table Radio shares the stories and sounds from the creative underground — house music, culture, and community, live from Brooklyn, NYC. 🔗 Connect with SanveroInstagram → https://instagram.com/sanveromusic [https://instagram.com/sanveromusic]

episode Wolf Spritzer — Why "Simple" House Music Is Harder Than It Sounds cover

Wolf Spritzer — Why "Simple" House Music Is Harder Than It Sounds

What happens when a trained musician walks into dance music thinking it'll be easy? Wolf Spritzer joins Tiny Table Radio for a conversation about ego, simplicity, and finding your voice in a genre that doesn't care about complexity. A lifelong bass guitarist who spent years playing rock shows at Webster Hall, Wolf picked up production during Covid and quickly discovered that making people move is harder than making people impressed. We talk about the humbling moment on a Twitch livestream that changed his approach, how voice memos became part of his creative process, including one idea that came to him on a pier in San Francisco, how PowerHaus came together with Bridge and CRVM, and why comparison is the thief of joy — but he keeps showing up because he loves it. This is a conversation about what it takes to start over in a new world and learn to let go of what you think you already know. 🎵 About Wolf Spritzer Brooklyn's Wolf Spritzer fuses classic disco and contemporary house into hard-hitting, funk-driven dancefloor cuts. A lifelong bass guitarist who spent years playing rock at Webster Hall, he brings a trained musician's ear to electronic production. A founding member of PowerHaus alongside Bridge and CRVM, with new music coming on Front Left Records and an EP with Aazure. 🎙 About Tiny Table Radio Tiny Table Radio shares the stories and sounds from the creative underground — house music, culture, and community, live from Brooklyn, NYC. 🔗 Connect Wolf Spritzer → https://instagram.com/wolfspritzer [https://instagram.com/wolfspritzer]

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
