PS Plus Game Club - Episode 40: The Invincible

This time Kevin has Josh from the Trophy Talk Podcast and Jordan from The Sage Temple on to talk about The Invincible, a game based on the book of the same name by Stanislaw Lem. They start by talking about their first impressions of the game and how it wasn’t what any of them were expecting. They have a general discussion and review of the game, and then provide a few recommendations similar to it. After that they go through an in-depth breakdown of the entire story of the game and all the surprising reveals it has in store. They also have a deep discussion of which of the eleven different endings could be the one true ending, and what the implications of it mean. Thanks for listening and we hope you enjoy this analysis of The Invincible.

Trophy Talk Podcast - Episode 143: A Desert Oasis

Hello one and all, and welcome back to another episode of Trophy Talk! After a few month hiatus Colin returns to the hosting chair, along side Josh of course. Together, they discuss the most recent round of PlayStation hardware price hikes and speculate on what this could mean for the launch of PS6 and the impending launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. From there, Josh and Colin dig into a new game that has been getting quite a bit of media attention lately, Crimson Desert. The contentious initial reviews and impressions of Crimson Desert, mixed with some truly positive analysis and recommendations from players make Crimson Desert a great flash point for examining the do's and don'ts of modern game design. Would you play a game that made you initially tap X to run in 2026? What if it's platinum was still unobtained and was speculated to be over 300 hours? Or, does none of that matter because the point of something like Crimson Desert is to allow you to get lost and build your own stories and adventures in its sandbox? On top of all of that Josh and Colin of course get into some Platinum shout outs, and what they've been playing. Josh has been trying his hand at the aforementioned Crimson Desert and unsurprisingly has quite a bit to say about it. Both Josh and Colin sunk their teeth into Resident Evil Requiem, and Colin has spent a lot of time in the walking sim / graphic novel territory with both Telltales: The Expanse, and Star Trek: Resurgence. As always, we hope you enjoy the discussion. Thank you for listening!

Trophy Talk March Special Episode: Our Game of the Year 2016 (Ten Years Later)

Hello and welcome to another special 5th Sunday episode of Trophy Talk. This time Kevin, Colin, and Zac gather to look back ten years and talk about their game of the year for 2016. Over the course of the episode they take turns counting down their top five games from that year and talk about each one at length. These are all their personal favorite releases from 2016, some of which may sound controversial at first. They go into as much detail as they can (without spoiling anything) and make a case for why each one deserves attention years later. We hope you enjoy hearing them reminisce about one of the best years in game releases and what made it so special.

Surviving the Horror - Episode 23: Resident Evil Requiem

Hello one and all, and welcome back to another episode of Surviving the Horror! In this episode Colin, Josh, and Gary gather around the proverbial hearth to discuss one of the biggest horror releases of the year, Resident Evil Requiem. As long time fans of the Resident Evil franchise, we've all been looking forward to this game for quite some time. The prospect of returning legacy characters, deep pulls from forgotten lore, and exciting new revelations in the timeline had us all chomping at the bit to get our hands on this game. But did it live up to the hype? Selling 5 million units in it's first days on the market, and with a 9.4 user score on Metacritic, Requiem certainly seemed to be catching the world by storm. After several playthroughs, and three earned platinum trophies, Colin, Josh, and Gary give their thoughts on what aspects of the game worked well, if the story elements and characters were believable, and importantly if Capcom successfully balanced third person action gameplay alongside first person survival horror. This is a meaty episode with lots to say about a franchise that is near and dear to our hearts. We hope that you enjoy this review of Capcom's ninth mainline installment in the Resident Evil franchise.

Mooglecast, Episode 21 | Disney in the Streets - Souls in the Sheets | Mini Topics Vol.3

Warmest of Welcomes everyone This month on the mooglecast the boys are joined by ThePortlandKevin and Fate Prime for the next instalment of the Mini Topics series. Despite all of the technical hiccups the gang endured whilst recording, we managed to have some great discussions on systems and mechanics we wanna see implemented more into video games moving forward, spiritual successors and games a partner would enjoy watching you play. Fate also brings us a classic delete 3 plats/100% from our profiles and have our memories wiped of the chosen games. whether it be deleting games we enjoy so that we can re-experience them for the first time all over again or deleting games that were just downright shite. Of course as per usual this meaty episode includes our usual run of the show with plat shout outs, the record and the newest update to Cactus Vs Tonberry where Zac is presented with a branching path and Max is served up a plate of his own words to eat. Due to the technical issues in the latter half of the episode some conversation may not sound quite cohesive and Zac apologises for this inconvenience. See you again on the 19th April, until then... Be excellent to each other.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
