S1E4: Joe's X's and O's

WFAA Sports Anchor Joe Trahan talks about his journey from Clutch City, through Cajun Country, and ultimately landing in Sports City USA. We learned the impact his Dad had on him as his coach and unique math lessons, which would later influence him as a parent and proud #GirlDad. Joe has a passion for golf and looking forward to getting his 5th Hole in One at his new hometown course, PGA Frisco. Community shouts outs to Brandon Frakes and Suad Bejtovic.

S1E3: Earnest Morgan: Big E Smiles

Get to know Earnest Morgan, Frisco's latest Frisco Chamber Citizen of the Year.  While he is known now for his big smiles and big personality now, he was first a crack dealer at 13.  His life changed when a guardian angel "saw something in him" to make her rip a gun from his hands to save him from shooting someone...a guardian angel he later married and recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. His football coach also saw something in him and told him your attitude will take you a long way and started asking him to lead the team motivational speeches. That's when he learned the only way to give up his other addictions would be to become addicted to smiling and he has never looked back. His incredible journey has lead him to car sales, opening a church, and now a new restaurant in Frisco. S1E2: Barbara Fasola: I've Got a Girl for you

Listen to the Untold stories of Barbara Fasola, CEO of Careington. The company has a culture of supporting and empowering women leaders and her executive team of super women rose to the top amidst an "I've got a guy for you" industry. They were one of the first companies to believe in Frisco building their HQ in 2000 (Yes Pre-Mall!). Careington is leading efforts to help people with mental health care  which is more important now than ever.  Barbara knows this more than anyone as she opens up publicly for the first time about losing a husband by death by suicide and how she coped to find a life on the other side of tragedy. Her journey is a much listen for anyone dealing with personal grief and how the sun does rise again. She's now doing amazing things to support WW2 families, did an Ironman and find out what made her pick back up that guitar and start playing again. If you ever get the chance to meet her she will leave you with a smile.  Yeah she's pretty great!  Also, Jeff and Ashley share life experiences of the Daddy Daughter Dance now that they are in different seasons in life.  Community shoutouts include Eddie Camacho and all of the veterans who worked on the Gold Star Monument as well as Citizen of the Year Big E (spoiler alert) who may be our next guest.
