WakeUp Daily Bible Study
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in 2 Corinthians 12:9, and this episode is all about grace, weakness, and the power of God meeting us exactly where we are. The Bible says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” That means grace is not a reward for being strong. It is God’s gift to us in the places where we feel weak. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to focus on our flaws, failures, and past mistakes. We can carry condemnation like a heavy weight and allow the enemy to use our weaknesses against us. But Paul gives us a completely different perspective. Instead of being ashamed of his weakness, he realizes that it creates room for the strength of Christ to rest on him. This message is also a reminder that grace does not give us permission to live however we want. Grace gives us the strength to keep growing. Our obedience does not come from fear or condemnation. It comes from realizing how deeply Jesus loves us and responding to that love with a desire to live differently. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also encourage us to freely give the same grace we have received. It is easy to become the grace police and focus on everything someone else is doing wrong. But condemnation rarely changes people. Love, grace, value, and hope create an environment where people can grow and allow God to work in their lives. If you feel weak, discouraged, or ashamed today, let this encourage you. God’s grace is enough. His strength is working in the places where you feel weakest. Receive that grace, keep growing, and freely give hope and grace to the people around you. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.
