Father Anthony with Cristina and Tony regroup today after the weekend, chatting and catching up as we lose an hour for Daylight Savings Time and we dread Monday.  Father offers daily prayer and afterwards turns to the readings of this past Sunday. They chat about the Book of Exodus as the people grumble about their situation. The group recognizes how we, the people of today do that also.  Father gently reminding us that we take one day at a time and that we focus on God to get through the struggles of each day. Father Koys takes us on another “brain wrinkling” walk as he tackles the topic of households. Households is one of the seven layers in Father Koys art piece “Heptagraph”.  Fr. Koys wrinkles your brain to contemplate this level of association as he references historical references to clarify the fascinating connections.  He dives into historical references on Shakespeare, the House of Plantagenet; it’s two branches, House of York and House of Lancaster, as well as the House of Tudor and the war of the Roses.  While experiencing technical difficulties today, Father Koys was a real trooper and trudge along to make his point in order to wrinkle your brain.  Happy Wednesday! Episode #4839 Pentecost

Episode #4838 On Celebrating the Ascension

Father Anthony with Tony and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father greets everyone and discusses the school mass, just completed that included a light, ribbon and awards ceremony.  Father recognizes the bittersweet joy given this is the last school award ceremony as the school will close at the end of the academic year.  Father discusses the school history and the changes in the area that ultimately led to this outcome. The group agrees that despite the school closing, St Stanislaus Kostka Academy offered a good Catholic based education and the students will take that with them.  After break Father offers prayer with the Litany to Our Lady.  Father continues discussion regarding the Ascension started yesterday and they comment on the beauty of the mass in celebration of the Feast of the Ascension. Father Anthony with Tony and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Father Anthony discusses the Consecration to our Lady that took place yesterday. They discuss the beauty of the event and the beauty of prayer. Father mentions that today is the Feast of the Ascension and they discuss this as well as the need for Convergence. After prayer and a break, Father then turns the mic over to Alice Babij (Bobby) to continue her presentation on the book, “This Joyful Eastertide, by Rev. Scott A. Haynes.  The book focuses on daily meditations through the Paschal Season encouraging you to enter deeply into the sacred season.
