#0 母の日/Mother's day

他愛もない、ある「母の日」のお話。 A story of Mother's day.  音声: VOICEVOX:青山龍星 こちらから聴けます: https://linktr.ee/the_daily_japanese スクリプト: My wife is not my mom. Before we got married, we were more like partners to each other. Ever since the kids were born, the connection, the horizontal line that connected my wife and I has changed into a triangle. Somehow, we got another kid, and the triangle became a square. It was then when grandpas and grandmas came around into our little family and the square became an octagon… No, it’s kind of losing its shape, I don’t even know what shape it is now. My wife has always served us well for anything that she does. She is so skilled at what she does that she leaves me speechless. Because of the way she is, I tend to rely on her a bit too much. - She wakes up all of us. - She makes breakfast for everyone. - She gets the kids dressed and ready for school. - She packs their school bags. - She drops them off and picks them up at the school. - She coordinates all the events like Omiyamairi, Shichigosan, and birthday parties. - She tucks them in, she wakes up in the middle of the night when they are being fussy, she fixes the covers for them, changes their diapers. - She takes them to the doctors to get them checked and vaccinated. - She never forgets to buy diapers or toilet papers to have them stocked up. - She takes all the dirty dishes to the sink to soak and wash them, and she cleans the sink so that the food scraps are not left in the sink. She wraps leftover food and puts them away in the fridge. - She makes sure any socks and clothes that are inside out are flipped over, she even takes my clothes to get dry cleaned… - She picks up and put away the books that have been left out, turns off any lights and AC that have been left on, - And she picks up dirty clothes that have been left on the floor and takes them to the washing machine. I mean, these are what I can think of right now and I’m sure there are more that she does. Out of all these things, how many of those do I actually do… Probably, ten things. Just ten. Of course, I cannot do everything myself because I am busy with work. But, my wife is not my mom. We were partners to each other before we got married. Does that mean we are not partners now? Wait, maybe it’s just that I’ve been relying on her too much without realizing. Today is Mother’s Day. Let’s go get some carnations with kids. Let’s get some toilet paper on the way home. I remember it was running out. Thank you always.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
