What Took The Podcast So Long?!

Have you ever had the best intentions possible, but then life just hits you hard? There is always a to-do list in life, and there are always things to be done; but during the middle of 2025, I just could not bring myself to do any of it! I was stuck! Stuck in my thoughts, my emotions, and stuck in occurences in my life that I perceived as failures. Everyday was a struggle to get out of bed, and do simple morning tasks like brushing my teeth, or getting myself ready for the day. My body felt like I was carrying bricks around everyday. I was weighed down with thoughts that were indeed lies, but at the time, it felt like truth. I struggled with thoughts of no longer existing here on earth, because the pain was unbearable at times. The painful memories of divorce, betrayl, and losing my only child, had me in a space of defeat. I felt like I had given life my best shot, but somehow I would consistently come up short. I am in my forties era, and the enemy was whooping my behind with thoughts of failure and defeat. The only reason the father of lies and the constant stream of deception had access to me is because I allowed the entry way. I did not cast those thoughts down, according to II Corinthians 10:5. I know the Word, but sometimes we allow the old man to win, instead of allowing the new man to rise. When those thoughts of defeat show up, you must take them captive, immmediately!!! Any thought contrary to the knowledge of GOD, Who He is, and how He has blessed your life, must be sent right back to sheol! Yes, I am divorced. Yes, I miscarried my first and only child. Yes, I have experienced deep betrayl, and difficult circumstances in my lifetime; BUT that part of my story is NOT the end of my story! It is just a portion of my life, NOT the totality of my life! I am BLESSED! I am HIS own! I am FREE! I am HEALED! I am WHOLE! I am FAVOR! One thing that I have learned is that, life will continue to "life"....but it is indeed up to us how we navigate our experiences. I choose to walk in the newness of life! I choose to walk this journey WITH God! I choose to only BELIEVE the TRUTH about myself and who I am IN Christ! If you are struggling in the same way I was, I understand. There is HOPE!
