Rachel Maddow explains the New York Times' reporting about Donald Trump's new Qatari plane missing some key defensive security features, and Trump's apoplexy over the idea that the Times report was bolstered by sources leaking information. Renowned First Amendment attorney Theodore J. Boutrous Jr. joins Rachel to discuss Trump's demand that the New York Times reveal its sources. Thomas Hicks, former commissioner with the Election Assistance Commission, talks with Rachel Maddow about the security of U.S. elections in the face of Donald Trump's open attacks. Rachel Maddow tells the story of Turkey, the host nation for this year's NATO summit, including a handgun and live ammunition in the parting goodie bag for NATO leaders without informing them they were carrying the weapon. Rachel Maddow shares a collective cringe with other Americans ahead of Donald Trump's trip to a NATO meeting in Turkey as Trump always finds a way to insult and undermine NATO at these meetings.
