She identified several mistakes people make that keep them stuck in their stories, including mistaking current circumstances for their full story, needing the complete blueprint instead of trusting the architect (God), getting overwhelmed by the full picture and never taking steps, and writing themselves off with "why me" thoughts that are actually fear masked as humility. Ashley emphasized that everyone's testimony begins with small movements in their current situation and shared biblical examples like Joshua's march around Jericho to illustrate how God's plans often don't make sense to humans but lead to incredible outcomes when we trust the process.
