Ep #7: Power in our Sisterhood

Women need other women. We need our sisters to revel in our accomplishments and empathize with our struggles. Sadly, this is not always the case. Most often women feel most judged by other women. Our strength will come from our sisters embrace. We need to see our strength as a collective. Our power is not against any man. True power is never against anyone. When we rise in true power, we will not only take care of ourselves, but also our brothers and our children.

Ep #6: Own Your Part

As women we seem fated to follow cultural mandates, religious mandates and the rules of traditional marriage but we alone have the power to rewrite our destiny. Join me on this episode where I discuss the first step in doing this which is - acknowledging your pain. The more you do this, this is where your true healing lies and your ultimate freedom. I also discuss owning your part in your subjugation. How have you participated in your own degradation? Why have you given your power to someone else? When you realize that both the problem and the solution lie within you, the proces of change will begin. I also discuss how we can easily blame men or the patriarchy and participate in man-bashing but to do so would be misguided. When we do this, we alienate our brothers. Men are also victims of this patriarchy and have also felt its impact and are also too at its mercy. So it is not about blaiming others. To become awakened, you don't understand your plight to feel victimized by it. True freedom has nothing to do with the other. Whenever our cure is bound to another person, even if it is justified, we stay enslaved to them. Time to own your part and take your power back! Ep #5: From Fear to Love

Come on a journey with me as I discuss the definiton of what it means to live in a fog and what is needed to clear your path so you can do so more clearly. Living in this fog-like state can be emotionally draining and lead to feelings of overwhelm, self-doubt, anxiety and feeling trapped. Fear is the ruling emotion in our fogged up state and it keeps us from speaking up and boldy speaking out. I give you some examples of my personal life on how I had to gather the courage to lean into the discomfort and push against the status quo. Integrating yourself means accepting all parts of yourself. We also discuss toxic religious patriarchy, my rock bottom, the end of my traditional marriage and designing a new partnership, and finally how I turned fear into love and am here to show you how to do the same.
