XO, Lauren [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2289963/open_sms] What better day to launch season two of Coloring My Way Across The Globe than on INTERNATIONAL PODCAST DAY—Monday, September 30, 2024? We begin this second podcast season with my new colleague and friend, Devaki Das, the founder of Weave A Thousand Journeys (WATJ), a travel company specializing in bespoke, luxury, curated vacations that blend culinary arts and architectural elegance. Inspired by a chaotic trip with friends in Tuscany in 2011, Devaki created WATJ to design seamless, personalized travel experiences with meticulous attention to detail, celebrating culture, food, wine and architecture. Lisa is a world renowned, certified architectural color specialist who has worked on projects both internationally—many areas in the Middle East—and domestically. Lisa has worked in all aspects of color naming, formulation, specification and palette development for a multitude of new construction, remodels and historical preservation initiatives. Please join us today for a most colorful discussion about Lisa’s journey in the world of architectural color. Reach Lisa Jenkins directly at www.lisajenkinscolor.com. We dedicate today’s episode in loving memory of Lisa’s brother, Richard “Rick” Jenkins. https://www.lfbcolor.com/ [https://www.lfbcolor.com/]

In this episode we cover Danny’s travels and entrepreneurial life as a professional clarinetist, his most recent performances in Paris and Dublin, and how he went about developing his unique playing style! Danny picked up his first clarinet at the age of 11 and by 16 was praised as “flat-out, jaw-agape spectacular” (The Courier-Journal, USA) and called a “wunderkind” (Maestro Robert Franz). He began his formal training at The Juilliard School with Ricardo Morales. During his studies, he went on tour throughout South America, China, Japan, USA, and Israel. He holds a Bachelor of Music from The Juilliard School and a Master of the Arts from Rice University. He is signed as an artist with The Vienna Music Company and F. Arthur Uebel of Wiesbaden, Germany. Danny plays exclusively on F. Arthur Uebel Clarinets. For more on Danny, visit www.DannyGoldman.com https://www.lfbcolor.com/ [https://www.lfbcolor.com/]

Today I have the privilege of introducing one of the world's most prolific young artists, Clara Woods. Clara's art is vivid, soulful, animated, playful and heavily inspired by Frida Kahlo. I hope that you will watch the episode as we delve into the mind of one of the most inspiring guests of season one's Coloring My Way Across The Globe. Clara and her mother Betina join me in the color studio for an engaging and in-depth discussion on art, life, overcoming challenges, faith and why inclusivity is so important.
