Lt. Tuck Pendelton (Dennis Quaid) is a problem. Usually, he's a drunk and an asshole and when his girlfriend, Lydia (Meg Ryan) leaves him over his behavior, he signs on for a top secret mission that shrinks him down to be injected into a rabbit for clinical trials. This experiment draws the attention of rival scientists Dr. Canker (Fiona Lewis) and terrorist, Scrimshaw (Kevin McCarthy) who hatch a plot to destroy the small lab and steal the tech to sell to the highest bidder. After a hostile takeover, Tuck is injected into unsuspecting hypocondriac, Jack (Martin Short) and he's dragged into danger and intrigue in order to deliver Tuck back to the regular sized world before Mr. Igoe (Vernon Wells) gets to him. Generic School is out and lonely guy cartoonist, Hoops (John Cusack) is headed to Nantucket with best friend, George (Joel Murray), his sister Squid (Kristen Goelz) and her ugly dawg Boscoe (Sky). During a bathroom break Hoops crosses paths with cornhusk girl, Cassandra (Demi Moore) who is in the middle of running from a biker gang. Joining the escape George manages to barely make the ferry to the island. Once there they meet up with George's island friends Ack Ack (Curtis Armstrong) the Stork bros Egg and Clay (Bobcat Goldthwaite, Tom Villard) who are working on the set of Foam, you know the one with the rabid dolphin but the richest family The Beckersteads (Mark Metcalf, Matt Mulhern, William Hickey) are trying to buy up the land that Cassandra's grandfather died on in order to build condos and a luxurious Lobster Log restaurant. After a bad surfing accident NOT Frankie (Frankie Avalon) and his eternally cheerful wife, Annette (Annette Funicello) move all the way to Ohio to start a family. When things in suburbia get stressful they pack up punk son Bobby (Demian Slade) and take a vacation to Hawaii. During a layover in LA, they plan on visiting eldest daughter SANDI (Lori Loughlin) who's living in their old stomping grounds on top of a pier. Sandi meanwhile is hiding her live in boyfriend Michael (Tommy Hinkley) who happens to be the son of old flame Connie (Connie Stevens), who's never stopped worshipping at the shrine of the Big Kahuna. Joe (Tom Hanks) works a shitty job at the home of the anal probe and Mr .Waturi (Dan Hedeya) isn't arguing that with you. After never ever feeling good, Joe goes to see Dr. Ellison (Richard Stack) who diagnoses him with a rare brain cloud and tells him he's only got about 6 months to live. A mysterious benefactor, Graynamore (Lloyd Bridges) appears on his doorstep to give him an opportunity to die like a man and sacrifice himself for the minerals on Wapani Woo. Joe is given credit cards (in his name) and a personal driver, Marshall (Ossie Davis) to get him ready for his final journey. Joe then meets a series of Meg Ryans (DeDe, Angelica, Patricia) he FINALLY makes his way to the island to immediately jump into the Woo. After a summer of lovin' the T Birds and the Pink Ladies are back at Rydell High for their senior year. Kenickie (Jeff Conaway) and the boys (Kelly Ward, Michael Tucci, Barry Pearl) greet Danny Zuko (John Travolta) after being apart and Rizzo (Stockard Channing) and the Ladies (Dinah Manoff, Jamie Donnelly) arrive to rule the school. Meanwhile Frenchy (DiDi Conn) is tasked with showing new student, SANDY (Olivia Newton-John) around her new school. After everyone catches up through song, the kids (HA) go about their semester breaking up and making up. Principal McGee and her assistant Blanche (Eve Arden, Doody Goodman) announce a televised dance contest that brings rivals Crater Face (Dennis Stewart) and Cha-Cha DeGregorio (Annette Charles) that brings the rivalry to a head at Thunder Road in a car race that sees the T birds win. Nearly everyone graduates, Rizzo is not pregnant, Frenchy is back in school and Danny and SANDY are back together and flying off into the ether in a flying car - is everyone really in a coma? Maybe!
