Tew Bunnag is a Tai Chi and meditation teacher currently working in the field of death and dying, a writer and an infinite source of inspiration and insight for me and many others.We recorded this conversation after our three days seminar "Peace in The Heart", in Corfu.Since Peace in the Heart is a deeply relevant topic to all of us as human beings - especially now with all that is happening in the world - I feel it is extremely important to share Tew's words and teachings, so as to awaken the inner work as much as possible, to as many as possible.Remembering our common ground as humans and working on what separates us and blocks this natural state of Peace of the Heart on each one of us and on all of us collectively, is the only possibility for Peace in the Wolrd.
The First Sound: the self seeker's quest

Does it calm or does it exalt? Does it accept or does it repel…? The first thought… Is it yours or borrowed? Is it open or forced? Is it guiding you or is it making you lose your way? Is it evolving or dispersing? Does it stay or does it go…? The first face… Is it original or reflected? Does it reveal itself or is it hiding? Do you look at it or are you distracted? Do you recognise it or do you have doubts about it? Do you face it or flee from it? The first encounter… Is it connection or conflict? Is it chance or a sign? Is it inspiration or repetition? Is it transforming or conforming? Does it unite or does it alienate? The first word… Is it love or fear? Is it laughing or crying? Is it speaking or listening? Does it receive or does it pretend? Does it Give or does it blackmail…? The answer is there For all questions it is the same Intuition or suggestion…? Who is asking? Who is answering? Does anyone listen? Does anyone care? Are you here…? Are YOU here? Your movement… Is it Exploding or imploding…? Is it expressing or compressing? Is it Holding or generating…? Is it Creating space or is it filling it…? Who is moving…? Your experience…? Is it exploring or does it know? Is it living in the past or in the future…? Is it knowledge or memory? Is it a journey or a destination? Is it beginning or ending…? The truth…? Is it yours or mine? Is it invention or discovery? Is it sought or remembered? Is it treasured or shared? Does it have time? Does it have form? Your awareness…? Is it present or sedated…? Is it truth or fantasy? Does it shake you or is it silently waiting? Does it decide or is it observing? Is there really a choice…? Love or indifference? Do you know where you are? Do you know who you are…? Do you know why…? Are you afraid to ask or afraid to know…?….
