This contemporary romantic comedy shines a light on the darker side of dating and is based - at least in part - on Shlesinger's real-life experiences. In this in-depth interview with us, Gatewood explains how important it is to keep going as a filmmaker, her struggles of trying to make it as an actor, and provides advice for aspiring filmmakers. Amber more than provides the answer - whilst admitting that she had her doubts about whether she was the right filmmaker to helm this version.
