Kim Griffith Jones, the sole employee of the Robinhood Foundation, fills the role of co-ordinator of this local NPO .The foundation was founded 13 years ago by local businesswoman, Cindy Norcott. She realised that she was in a position to help needy mothers in the community by merely passing on the nearly new clothing that her baby had outgrown. With this idea, she mobilized friends and neighbours to contribute what they had, and so the Robinhood Foundation came to be.Having grown considerably over the years, and being manned entirely by volunteers, the foundation did reach a point where a fulltime co-ordinator was required. When this position became vacant a few years back, Kim was the successful applicant. You can hear the committment and passion that Kim has for her job as she tells of the work being done. She fully represents the values of the foundation and speaks with delight of the joy that it brings both giver and receiver when the Robinhood Foundation uplifts the community through their various projects. If you would like to contribute your time and talents or if you would like to make a financial contribution , please contact The Robinhood Foundation website: robinhoodfoundation.co.za
