The Utes put together one of its most impressive wins in program history by slaughtering the #3 Oregon Ducks by 31 points. With the win, Utah has now clinched the Pac-12 South and Kyle Whittingham has now won more games than any other coach in Ute football history. The Utes are currently favored by 3 to defeat the #3 team in the country, the Oregon Ducks. I dug into some of the numbers and history to try to understand why bettors are putting their money on a 3-loss team when a top-3 team visits Rice Eccles Stadium this Saturday. Guess what? The Utes football team just completely humiliated the Cardinal in Palo Alto, rushing to a 45 point victory. A few all-time Utah records are starting to fall, and Tavion Thomas and Devin Lloyd continue to move towards the top of the record books.
