In mid-November the Art Life's Andrew Frost spoke with US artist Nick Cave in front of a live audience of 800 people at Carriageworks, Sydney. Cave speaks on his background, inspirations and working methods, the connection of music to his practice and his philosophies as a teacher.

On January 9, 2014 The Art Life's Andrew Frost spoke with Christian Boltanski in front of a live audience at Carriageworks. The celebrated French artist was in Sydney for the opening of his installation Chance and talked about the evolution of his work, his inspirations and his unshakeable belief in an indifferent God. The works discussed in the podcast include Altar to the Chases High School [1987], Dog in the Street, Toys, Bath Time and Children Playing [each 1991], Monument to The Children of Dijon [1986], No Mans Land [2010], Life of CB [2010] and Chance [2011-14].
