Podcast von Derek Jon DeMasi

Over the coarse of the last few days my research has brought be down a dark and depressing path. I love it though and that is why I know I was born to do this. I have a very dark soul. A soul that I will be opening up to my followers more and more in the coming future. My past and the issues I have overcome has provided a much needed chip on my shoulder. I went to a Top University but I have also been institutionalized in jail and a psych ward. My experiences make this rewarding. This Episode goes into detail about A Small Town in Ohio where corruption is part of everyday business.

William Slaton | Sexual Predator | Removed Woman's Fingers & Tattoo's Before Stuffing Her in Barrel | Meet Up For 3-Some Gone Wrong |

Police in Middleton, Ohio discovered a bowl containing human fingers and patches of tattooed skin while searching the home of William Slaton, who's been formally charged in the death of Cecily Cornett. An Ohio man accused of cutting off a woman’s fingers and tattoos and keeping her nude body in a barrel was indicted Wednesday on a murder charge. William Slaton, 35, was arrested in late June after a caller tipped off police about a dead body allegedly being kept at the man’s home, according to a press release [https://www.facebook.com/386007358248620/posts/1488882317961113/] by the Middletown, Ohio Police Department. Cecily Cornett, 21, had met Slaton online while Slaton was trying to arrange a threesome, Middletown Det. Ken Mynhier testified in court, according to Ohio outlet WKRC [https://local12.com/news/local/man-accused-of-stuffing-body-into-barrel-in-middletown-appears-in-court-cincinnati]. Slaton told investigators he woke up one morning after using drugs to find Cornett's hanged body in his basement, Mynhier testified. Slaton allegedly confessed to then using a cigar cutter to slice off all ten of the woman's fingers and a razor blade to remove two or three of her tattoos, Mynhier said. Slaton also allegedly confessed to keeping the woman’s body in his basement for several days before stuffing it into a metal drum, according to court documents obtained by Ohio station WLWT [https://www.wlwt.com/article/tip-from-tennessee-led-police-to-middletown-home-where-womans-body-was-found-in-drum-mutilated/33221202]. Introduction to The Smiley Face Killer Theory

The Smiley face murder theory (variations include Smiley face murders, Smiley face killings, Smiley face gang, and others) is a theory advanced by retired New York City [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City] detectives [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detectives] Kevin Gannon and Anthony Duarte, and Dr. Lee Gilbertson, a criminal justice professor and gang expert [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gang] at St. Cloud State University [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Cloud_State_University].[1] [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiley_face_murder_theory#cite_note-1] They allege that a number of young men found dead in bodies of water across several Midwestern American states [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midwestern_United_States] from the late 1990s to the 2010s[2] [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiley_face_murder_theory#cite_note-2] did not accidentally drown [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drowning], as concluded by law enforcement agencies [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police], but were victims of a serial killer [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_killer] or killers. The term "smiley face" became connected to the alleged murders when it was made public that the police had discovered graffiti [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graffiti] depicting a smiley [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiley] face near locations where they think the killer dumped the bodies in at least a dozen of the cases. Gannon wrote a textbook case study [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Case_study] on the subject titled "Case Studies in Drowning Forensics".[3] [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiley_face_murder_theory#cite_note-3][4] [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smiley_face_murder_theory#cite_note-auto-4] The response of law enforcement investigators and other experts has been largely skeptical. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app [https://anchor.fm/app]
