This includes a report made by Amal's stepson in regards to a few phone calls that were made to him a couple of years ago. Also covered is more interviews from the day after the murder, this time by Amin and his wife Bianca. Each time we share a fact about this crime, more lies told by the people who surrounded Amal in her last days come to light. S2 - Episode 1 - Back to Square One

Welcome to Season 2 of the Victim in Surprise. When this podcast was originally conceived, the intention was to present it as one season to bring awareness to Amal Bahjat's brutal unsolved murder. The hope was to respark interest in her case and to reignite the police investigation to find Amal's killer. However, as we are entering into the 9th year of her unsolved cold case, host Eileen Zenn felt the urge to bring the podcast back for another season to keep alive the attention and focus to this case and to present more facts and details. Through her work, Eileen has uncovered more information, some of which was very discouraging, but Eileen will not give up, and that is why we have returned. In this season, we will look closely at the small details surrounding this case. In this episode, we shall introduce them to you, the listener. Based on updates from the Surprise police department's most recent report, we go back to where Eileen left off back in Season 1. Episode 13 - More writing on the Wall

In this last episode, the host Eileen Zenn goes back to the alleged kidnapping attempt and add one more theory, before that she shares how the Surprise police department mishandled the handwriting samples. She also brings up details from the crime scene that somehow she didn’t share in the past.
