12 episodiosIn episode #12, Indi encourages us to stay open to possibilities, to expression and to being surprised. She considers how even with positive intent, an obsessive approach to such things as open mindedness undermines its purpose and actually limits exploration and acceptance. Playing with language, Indi speaks to the notion of being a walking contradiction if it means embracing the full spectrum, or diluted elements, of ourselves. To stay curious about who and what makes us feel true and how this is often dynamic. How differing experiences, expressions, elements of self can coexist and are not necessarily mutually exclusive. An importance lies in honoring our fullness.
In episode 11, Indi talks about change and how regardless of the proposed outcome, it bears its own challenges. She speaks to her own recent responses to the beginnings of COVID restrictions easing, the influence of expectation and notes the okayness of feeling trepidation. A reminder is offered to find our center and to own our personal reality as opposed to getting lost in a comparative mindset. A brief yogic exercise is included from 14:35 - 20:00, based around somatic observation. The episode is closed with a grateful mention to how small things aren’t so small when you acknowledge their capacity to shift your holistic state.
In episode #10, Indi talks with one wise and cheeky woman – Raisha Rahman – about practicing spirituality in a world of many shades and creating purpose through flirting with all that life delivers. Together they speak their opinions about - and experiences with - the law of attraction, the power of self-belief and the use of astrology. This episode highlights our own, yet shared, journeys back home to ourselves and questions what the hard/easy road is and if that really matters in the grand scheme of things.
In episode #9, Indi explores the meaning of courage and how it doesn’t just exist in physical extremes. She applauds the art and courage involved in honest communication, expressing one’s self and asking considered questions. Reinforcing the relativity of life and how one’s external presentation often doesn’t mirror what’s going on internally. Through acknowledging the personal toll that suppressing experience takes, as well as its disservice to those around you, Indi aims to narrow her reflective discrepancy - to own and address her feelings as they arise. She emphasizes how finding truth in a situation – even if it’s not what you wanted – is liberating.
In episode #8, Indi shares a conversation with a beloved friend of hers - Mia Incerti - about the mystery and adventure that love is, the powerful and purposeful nature of it, in the essence of both conditional and unconditional love. Together they explore relationships and synergize their definitions of what love might be as a feeling, a language, a verb, a choice, a lesson, an experience, an acceptance, a welcoming of self and other.
