Give Yourself Your Flowers and Enough Credit

Hey hey hey! Welcome back to Cruising with Aanu! It's your girl Aanu, and if you're back again, I just want to say thank you. Genuinely, thank you for tuning in, for showing up, and for choosing to spend a little bit of your time with me. That means everything. So it's another week, another episode, and honestly? This one has been sitting on my heart for a while. Like I knew I had to talk about this because I feel like so many of us, myself included, are guilty of this. We do it without even realising it. This week we are talking about giving yourself enough credit. Because somewhere between trying to do better and trying to be better, a lot of us forgot to stop and acknowledge how far we've already come. And we need to fix that today. So get comfortable, grab your drink, whatever you've got, and let's cruise into it."

Slow Motion is Better Than No Motion

Hey guys! It’s another episode of the podcast and I’m so happy you’re tuning in today.  Seriously, thank you for spending a part of your day with me. Today, I wanted to jump into something that has been on my heart lately because I know I’m not the only one feeling the pressure to "go, go, go." What this episode is really about is that feeling of being stuck in the middle. We’re talking about how slow motion is better than no motion. We get so caught up in wanting the big wins right now, like the dream job, the salary, or the perfect life, that when things feel slow, we just want to give up. In this episode, we’re diving into: * Why we feel like we’re failing when we aren’t sprinting. * The things you need to watch out for so you don't waste your "slow season." * How to keep your faith when the vision feels like it’s taking forever (shout out to Habakkuk 2:3!). * Why moving just one inch today is still a massive win. I hope this episode encourages you and helps you breathe a little easier today. No matter how fast or slow you’re going, just don’t stop. Keep moving, keep believing, and let's get into the episode! A New Perspective: Structure, God, and Zero Distractions.

Hey guys, it's Aanu here, welcome back to another episode. Thank you for tuning in. This week we are talking about more than just a new year and new goals. We are talking about what it really means to put God first. Not just saying it at the beginning of the year, but actually building your life around it. Sometimes the issue is not that the year was terrible. It is that things were out of order. There was no structure. There were too many distractions. We were moving without direction and wondering why nothing felt steady. In this episode, I talk about recognizing what pulled you off track, being honest about where you lacked discipline, and choosing to realign. Putting God at the center. Creating structure in your daily life. Removing the habits and distractions that quietly divide your focus. 2026 is not about becoming a completely different person overnight. It is about correction. It is about intention. It is about building your life in the right order so that everything else can fall into place. If you are ready to be more focused, more disciplined, and more spiritually grounded this year, this conversation is for you. Sometimes growth does not require a new life. It requires a fresh perspective.

If Last Year Wasn’t Your Year, This One Can Be

Happy New Year, everyone, and truly, thank you for tuning in. Welcome back to Cruising with Aanu. HAPPY 2026 :) It feels really good to be here, and I am genuinely grateful that you are spending a few moments of your day with me. As we step into a new year, I have been reflecting on something that I think many of us experience but do not always talk about openly. The quiet disappointment of a year that did not quite go the way we hoped. For some people, last year was full of wins, progress, and exciting milestones. For others, it may have felt slow, confusing, heavy, or even frustrating. If you ended the year feeling like things did not fully align, I want you to know you are not alone in that feeling. We often see the highlight reels of people’s lives. The achievements, the celebrations, the big moments. But we rarely hear about the seasons that felt uncertain or delayed, or simply not as fulfilling as expected. What I have come to realize is that not every year is meant to be the best year of your life. Some years stretch you. Some years humble you. Some years quietly prepare you for something greater, even if you do not immediately see it. A new year carries something psychologically powerful. It gives us mental permission to reset. Not because we failed, but because we are evolving. It allows us to release pressure, reframe our thinking, and move forward with a different perspective. Personally, this year has already felt different for me. Not necessarily because of dramatic external changes, but because of an internal shift. Especially around control, expectations, and the exhausting habit of trying to figure everything out alone. I have spent a lot of time reflecting on the difference between relying only on my own strength and learning to trust God more intentionally. That shift in mindset has been both humbling and freeing in ways I did not fully expect. So in today’s episode, I want us to have a very honest and grounded conversation about difficult years, fresh starts, mindset resets, and the quiet power of choosing trust over constant self pressure. If last year did not feel like your year, I hope this episode gives you reassurance, perspective, and maybe even a sense of calm about what is still possible. Having a Family: God’s Gift in Tough Times

Hey Cruisers! Long time, but I am back and I’ve missed you! I hope you enjoy today’s episode as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thank you for sticking with me and asking when I’d be back; your love and support mean the world. 💛 Today, we are talking about something so close to the heart: the blessing of having a family, especially in life’s hardest moments. Family is not just about bloodlines. It is about the people who love, support, and stand by you when storms hit. In this episode of Cruising with Podcast Aanu, we reflect on why family matters, how they show up when we need them most, and why having a circle you can lean on is one of God’s greatest gifts. Together, we look at scriptures like Proverbs 17:17 “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity” and Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, reminding us that we are never meant to carry our burdens alone. And of course, you know me. I will wrap it all up with a fun twist: “What age do you really feel you are? Movie edition.” For me, I am at that age where I will watch a movie and still run online just so someone can spoil it for me. So tune in, laugh a little, reflect deeply, and remember this. Having a family is truly God’s gift in tough times. Welcome back, family. Let’s cruise. 🚀
