OUR PURPOSE We are so thrilled that you have chosen to listen to our podcast. We trust that you will feel the presence of the Lord and His leading through these spoken words. We here at Cornerstone Worship Center, serve a Risen Savior and that is the reason why we have so much joy in our celebration of Him. We are a full Gospel church and that simply means that we believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God; this results in us teaching and preaching the truth of the Word. We believe that we serve a mighty God who wants to make us the best that we can be as God pours His gifts of the Spirit upon us. We also believe that these gifts should be used in the church service to edify the body of Christ. These gifts are to empower the believer as they choose to walk in the way of the Lord. In addition, we believe that Jesus established the local church as His place to meet the needs of His people and to provide it as a place to teach and train individuals to fulfill His command to go into the world to preach the Gospel. This is the reason we broadcast world-wide, via Facebook, YouTube, and Podcasts. We are not only a local ministry, but we are also a world-wide ministry. OUR CHURCH Cornerstone Worship Center was birthed on Sunday, October 1, 2000 in the home of Pastors Don and Ernestine Wolf. Within six months, after preparing the garage, services were moved into the garage to handle the people. A search was begun to locate another building to buy or to lease and none was found. In the summer of 2001, we purchased the five acres and phase one of our building took place and in February, 2002 we moved into our current location. Since that time, we have added three buildings, a home and garage and doubled the size of the sanctuary. OUR PASTORS Senior Pastors, Don and Ernestine Wolf were married in August of 1999 and the both love being servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Don received his Christian education through Global University and School of Bible Theology Seminary and University. He was born in Kansas City, MO and moved to California with his parents at the age of 10. Spent three years in the US Army in the Finance Corp and spent fifteen months in Korea. He had five children (four daughters and a son) from his first marriage and has survived his first wife, son and a daughter. He has ministered in the Detroit area; Redmond, OR and traveled for two years as an evangelist before marrying Ernestine and starting Cornerstone Worship Center in Vestaburg, MI. He has had the privilege of ministering in Mexico, Venezuela, and eight countries in Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Lesotho and South Africa). He is licensed and ordained through ABEA (Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association) and currently serves as 1st Vice President for the organization. Pastor Ernestine received her Christian education through Anchor Bay Evangelistic Association (ABEA) Bible School and is licensed and ordained through ABEA. She was raised in the Vestaburg area and has lived in the area her entire life. She has three children and she has survived her first husband. Her son owns CHP Heating and plumbing in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Her oldest daughter lives with her husband in Florida and enjoys playing the base guitar and singing with our praise team when they visit. Her youngest daughter is a pastor in the church and sings with the praise team each week. Ernestine also has traveled with Pastor Don to Uganda and South Africa to minister the Word of God. Both are spiritual overseers for several churches in Africa, along with nurturing the people of Cornerstone Worship Center - Vestaburg. God has been good to them and they have had the pleasure of sharing God's goodness with so many.
