You Don't Heal By Being More Loved By The World

Your whole life you've been trying to heal by becoming more loved.. By the right person. The right relationship. The right amount of success. The right version of yourself that finally feels worthy enough. And it never works. Because you can't heal from a wound with the same thing that caused it. 1 John 4:7-8 carries the most important revelation Buddy has ever encountered. Not that God loves you — but that God IS love. His nature is love. Which means love isn't something He gives and takes away based on your performance. It's what He is. Always. Toward you. Right now.
