The majority of Javior's revenge takes place in Gambit with consistent storytelling as the other Science Officer books. Payoff just finalizes the ending in a way that felt like leftovers. There would be more consistency reading it as one story. Feels like the middle chapters of a larger book. Finished this section, authors publishing piecemeal stories drives me nuts. This was barely the center chapters of a larger novella. I'll finish the series out of curiosity, won't look at his other books until they are combined into one purchase for at least 2 or 3 "books". Careful good story but a money pit for the reader a ... Careful good story but a money pit for the reader a cash cow for someone else..... 2.99 for every 120 pages. About 9 or 10 dollars for a regular size book and it is nothing but electrons. if i would of realized it at the beginning i would not of touched it. but then after reading the first one for free i did purchase all of the books in the series. Enjoyable I just wish it could have been longer, but it was fast paced and character development was good, I look forward to the next one. Five Stars An entertaining series; read the whole set.
