Matt K Ultra and Roswell return from hiatus with season 2 of Historica Esoterica! This is the first part of our series on MK ULTRA, a broad and complicated subject. With this episode, we hope to dispel some common misconceptions and contextualize the famous CIA sponsored mind-control experiments, and begin to lay the groundwork of what led up to the MK ULTRA experiments. This episode covers World War 2 and it's relation to the project. Furthermore, we explore projects Artichoke and Bluebird in addition to some of the major players of the story. This episode is more research intensive then many of our past episodes but is still intended to be a broad overview based in fact for the lay person. There are many rabbit holes to fall down and threads to pull on so we have done our best to present the information that is most important to understanding the story and it's impact.
