In a mostly lighthearted episode Tamara and Garrett catch up on what has been going on in their lives since we spoke to you last.  We discuss our in person meet up, our Thanksgiving gratefulness with families and our health.  We discuss what it means to be fully present, and riff on not being "lost in thought".   We want to extend a very warm Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends.

Garrett has over five years and Tamara has over three years of sobriety under their  belts.  But they are by no means sages or recovery gurus, they  are just a couple of friends on opposite sides of the country Garrett and Tamara give updates on their lives and reflect on what has happened in the past year and a half, and how they are still remaining sober.   Garrett shares an insight over why he drank that he was not previously aware of and goes over his experience with the 12 steps Tamara shares how she is able to be fully present with her daughters and talks about how she is doing all the things that she never thought she would do if you asked her 5-10 years ago They both agree that quiet peaceful domestic life is awesome.
