And if you have ever tried that and felt worse, not better, you are not imagining it. Here is what that advice misses. Intensity is not inherently dysregulating. Misalignment is. And menopause doesn't lower your capacity for drive. It lowers your tolerance for pushing in the wrong direction. The crash comes faster now. The recovery takes longer.
