We discuss how social constructs allow many people to believe they have imposter syndrome when they don't necessarily, the negative impacts of hustle culture and the realisation that even those you think most likely to avoid mistakes, likely make them every day! In today's episode we are lucky to be joined by the lovely Isla to chat about how she finds life being (mostly) social media free. We discuss the pros and cons of life without social media, and Isla gives actionable tips on how to reduce social media time. We also get to hear how living without Instagram has helped Isla to stop seeking validation for her looks from Instagram likes, or from fitting the “instagram aesthetic”. She also explains how ditching the socials allows you to reclaim control not only over your time, but all aspects of your life, including your thoughts and interests.
