One day, when taking her goat to pasture, a wise woman teaches her a chant that provides her with a wonderful meal each time it is recited. Suspicious that Little Two-Eyes no longer eats the scraps provided, her mother sends her sisters out to spy. When they discover her secret the mother puts an immediate stop to it and kills the goat. The wise woman appears again, and advises Little Two-Eyes to bury the goat's heart. She does, and a beautiful apple tree, (which can only be picked by Little Two-Eyes,) grows in its place, and ultimately leads to her salvation. Questions or Comments? After much time apart, and many harrowing adventures, the two are reunited in a distant land.
