716 episodiosThe first episode of Annie Kelly's 6-part podcast miniseries Truly Tradly Deeply. Cursed Media subscribers have access to the first two episodes right now, plus each new episode as they are released weekly. https://www.cursedmedia.net/ This series immerses you in the online world of "tradwives" through social media feeds, videos, and podcasts, so we can understand both its genuine appeal and its real‑world consequences. In our kickoff episode to Truly Tradly Deeply, Annie Kelly and Megan Kelly dive into the glossy, algorithm‑friendly world of “tradwives.” Why has it exploded from fringe subculture to mainstream lifestyle brand? We open with the story of the rise and unmasking of “Patriarchy Hannah,” a Twitter persona built on radical submission, to ask what, exactly, counts as a tradwife and why the aesthetics of “ancestral” femininity are so powerful right now. What’s inside * How tradwife content differs from stay‑at‑home‑mom content * A history tour: from anti‑suffrage campaigns (including the famous Swiss “No to women’s voting rights” poster) to Phyllis Schlafly, and the slogan “feminine, not feminist.” * Why “girlboss” neoliberal feminism and trad messaging can sound weirdly alike. Both lean on ideas of personal choice while dodging structural inequality. * Two audiences, two internets: the soothing homemaker feed aimed at women vs. the spiky, sexualized “Red Pill Tradwife” content built for men. * The political stakes: how hyper‑feminine imagery is being weaponized by the far right, from European “remigration” messaging to U.S. campus politics, and why women are increasingly central to that project. Why do tech oligarchs keep proclaiming that the end is nigh? From Elon Musk warning of the civilizational-level threat of the “woke mind virus,” to Marc Andreessen declaring that “any deceleration of AI will cost lives,” to Peter Thiel’s fixation with the Antichrist, billionaires are insistent that the stakes of their ventures are nothing less than apocalyptic. To better understand the paranoia of Silicon Valley overlords, Travis, Jake, and Julian are joined by Chris Marquis, Sinyi Professor of Chinese Management at the University of Cambridge and author of the book The Profiteers: How Business Privatizes Profits and Socializes Costs. This week, Jake and Travis sit down with journalist Will Sommer to unpack his investigation into the New Age wellness empire selling stacks of glowing TV monitors as a cure‑all. Jason Shurka, the brains behind the multi-million dollar operation, used the funds to bankroll a brand new streaming platform, Unifyd TV, whose offerings include documentaries made by QAnon promoters. According to the promoters of this quack cure, their work is approved by a secret society of powerful entities who are dedicated to elevating humankind called “The Light Systems” cabal or “TLS.” One member of The Light Systems, a figure called “Ray,” is regularly filmed while wearing a face-concealing hoodie and gloves in order to preserve his anonymity in interviews with Shurka available on Unifyd TV. It’s a lot. Just listen to the episode. Annie Kelly has spent most of 2025 investigating the online world of so-called “traditional wives” or “tradwives.” On this episode she sits down with Travis, Jake, and Julian to talk about her new six-episode miniseries Truly, Tradly, Deeply for the Cursed Media podcast network. Among other discoveries: it’s more difficult than you might think to even properly define “tradwife,” much of the community promotes a fantasy about the pre-internet age, and tradwife content is far less fringe than it used to be. The first two episodes of “Truly, Tradly, Deeply” will be released on the Cursed Media podcast network on the 29th of October. https://www.cursedmedia.net/ Cursed Media subscribers also get access to every episode of every QAA miniseries we produced, including Manclan by Julian Feeld and Annie Kelly, Trickle Down by Travis View, The Spectral Voyager by Jake Rockatansky and Brad Abrahams, and Perverts by Julian Feeld and Liv Agar. In this special Halloween edition of movie night, Jake and Travis discuss the 1960 British “B-movie” The City of the Dead. The film, the directorial debut of John Llewellyn Moxey and released under the title Horror Hotel in the United States, tells the story of a coven of witches in New England who lure women for a diabolical yearly sacrifice to Lucifer. The British actors, including a very young Christopher Lee, put on their best American accents to make a film so spooky that distributors chose to cut some references to Satan worship for the U.S. distribution. Best of all? You can watch it for free in 4K right now on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nl3cQ5Lo9HI Subscribe for $5 a month to get all the premium episodes: www.patreon.com/qaa Editing by Corey Klotz.
