(1) The Resurrection Stirs Our Compassion for the Hurting He executes justice [mishpat] for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. —Deuteronomy 10:18 This is what the Lord Almighty said: “Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.
