This podcast is a Jazz SongShare where everyone at the table picked a jazz piece that means something to them. In this podcast are five men from various ages, generations, races, and roles on Syracuse University's campus: Noah Lambert is a first year student in the College of Engineering and Computer Science who chose Dave Brubeck’s “Take 5” from 1959; Joe Vanable is a graduate student in music education who chose “Save Your Love For Me” by Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley from 1962; Daqwuan Smith is a first year SSS student in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics who chose “Christmas Time Is Here” performed by the Vince Guaraldi Trio in 1965; Shiu-Kai Chin is a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the College of Engineering and Computer Science who chose “Compared to What” by Les McCann and Eddie Harris from 1967; and Craig Tucker is the Director of the Office of Supportive Services (HEOP and SSS) who chose “Bustin’ Loose” by Chuck Brown from 1979.
