One reason I love doing these podcast episodes is because I learn so much about myself and I learn so much from my brother. I had no idea I had a problem with being proud of myself. This is something I'm sure other people deal with too. This also made me analyze my joy and contentment in life. I think it's important we all take time to reflect on the positives and negatives of life. So this may be a little bit controversial, but I am a strong believer that God rewards good stewardship. Look at the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30). Our current generation believes more and more that God is their genie and should bless them at their wish and call. But God desires a relationship, a true relationship.
