You are the star of your own show, you write your own story, you conquer your own struggles. You, yes you! And you, and the person next to you. We often forget that while we are creating our own stories, the people passing us by are too. One word changed my entire perspective on life. If you know this word, I hope you practice it, and if you don’t, I’m honored to introduce you to it.Sonder, the realization that each and every person has a unique and complex life, just like yours. No NPCs, side characters, or extras, people with real lives, real feelings, real stories. I’ve created a space to be able to meet new people, learn more about the ones I already know, share a few laughs and tears, and maybe make a few new friends along the way. The word “sonder” is, as Ted Mosby once said, “hauntingly beautiful.” I aim to bring the beauty of everyone’s stories to light. Maybe that way they don’t have to be haunting, but rather - enlightening, inspiring, or even comforting. Despite everyone’s individuality, bringing together everyone’s stories creates the library of human community, join me as I check these stories out. This is Sonderland.
