Acerca de The August Island Society of Young Detectives

"Extremely fun and heartfelt... we can't stop listening!"  The Kluxen brothers (ages 9 & 13) --Asbury Park, NJ. I found the handwritten pages of this true cozy-adventure-mystery story after it washed onto the shore of August Island, NJ. There is no author listed. Written for ages 9-135, I am hoping you can help me figure out who wrote it while solving the mystery along with the Young Detectives. SYNOPSIS: When twelve-year-old Lucy and her fellow Young Detectives are hired to find a kidnapped pet parrot of unknown origin and incredible linguistic ability, the pack of friends uncover ancient legends of August Island, and soon discover the mystery stretches far beyond a missing bird.My name is Oosh Sinclair, August Island resident and your narrator.  If you have any information about who wrote this book, please email me at whowroteaugustisland@gmail.com"It quickly became my favorite bedtime story and mystery novel."  R. Brady (age 10)  -- Bronx, NY"This modern day mythic adventure captures the joy and wonder of our Island home beautifully and my kids adore it. It's like a modern fairytale. "  J. Episode 9... In which our heroes make eye-bulging discoveries while the villain lurks in the shadows…

Welcome to Episode Nine of the August Island Society of Young Detectives. Seven has forgiven Lucy, thank goodness, and with dumb boring school finally in the dust, the Young Detectives have no other obligations standing in their way to bring Mona home.  But they’re stuck in a rut. Seven feels that if they rethink and revisit all the details they have collected so far, the keystone clue of the case will be revealed.  As we charge ahead into chapters 41 thru 45, our four detectives will feel very close to all the mystery’s answers… but will we be able to see it? Is it staring right at us? Or are we alone on a cliff, trying to make out what we see in the distance?  Let's stop wasting time... hit play! ------------------ If you have any information about who wrote this book, please email me at whowroteaugustisland@gmail.com "I listened to it, and then I listened to it again!"  B. For our Young Detectives, a crossroads is reached, and Lucy, Seven, Corndog and Heinousweiner may not agree on which direction to go. Episode 7... In which our heroes uncover some magical nonsense and sing to the Island…

Welcome to Episode Seven of the August Island Society of Young Detectives, in which our heroes uncover some magical nonsense and sing back to the Island.  Cecelia has left out too many details, and so Lucy and Seven will demand she tell them everything. On the precipice of Summer Vacation, more intel well be gathered by our Young Gumshoes, but what and what not to believe may prove to be their greatest challenge.  I am your host, August Island local, the one who dug this book out of the sand, avid chess player, Vanellope is my favorite Disney Princess, and former August Island City Lifeguard, Oosh Sinclair.  Today, we will glide on into the midpoint of this cozy adventure mystery story as we read chapters 31 thru 35. Our Young Detectives will be tested as the battle of the minds continues. I think it’s no spoiler if I tell you that before this hour is up, Stetson Albany will be interviewed. I want you to know now, so you can brace yourself. He is a royal stupid idiot smelly jerkface with worms for brains.  Oh yeah, and they go swimming.  ***If you are visiting August Island for the first time, start at Episode 1.
