Episode 24: How to Overcome Self-Limiting Beliefs Holding You Back from Success

FREE TRAINING: How To Drop 15-20 Pounds in the Next 16 Weeks!Discover the 3 Secrets to Lasting Body Transformation Without Giving Up Your Favorite Foods or Spending Hours in the Gym... Even If You’re a Busy Parent With Zero Time to Sparehttps://www.impactperformance.online/transformation-secrets========================================================Today, I'm going to be talking a little bit about overcoming self-limiting beliefs and why it's so important for personal development. When it comes to self development. Throughout my journey, I've encountered various versions of myself, each requiring me to break free from limiting beliefs to evolve into the next version of me. Whether in business, as a father, or as a husband, I realized that many people, including myself, often define themselves by a single role, neglecting the dynamic nature of our identities. Transformation is crucial because what we do in our personal health and wellness directly impacts how we show up in all areas of our lives. As a coach, I reflect on my early days of training people. I wasn't always mindful of my nutrition, often indulging in unhealthy fast food. My wife would call me during lunch, and I would be at Wawa, ordering a hefty hoagie or meatball sandwich. This unhealthy eating made me sluggish and tired, affecting my performance as a coach. I didn't realize how much my habits were holding me back until I hit a point where I felt unfulfilled and out of shape.I believe that to be an effective leader, whether in the workplace or at home, you must lead by example. Are you showing your kids or your team the right way to live, or are you merely telling them? It's essential to align your actions with your beliefs. If you want to inspire others, you must embody the change you wish to see. Many of us carry outdated belief systems that limit our potential. We often resist change, clinging to habits that no longer serve us. This resistance can manifest in various ways, from unhealthy eating to unproductive work habits. The story of the monkey illustrates this perfectly: holding onto a banana can keep you trapped. Are you holding onto beliefs that prevent you from evolving? To achieve your goals, you must be willing to evaluate your beliefs and habits critically. Are you ready to let go of what's holding you back? Transformation requires hard work and a commitment to change. You have the power to redefine your life, but it starts with a willingness to confront your limitations and take actionable steps toward your goals. Remember, you are capable of achieving greatness if you're willing to put in the effort. Let's embark on this journey together and strive to be the best versions of ourselves every day.

Episode 23: How to Improve Your Daily Habits

In this episode, Coach Chris dives deep into one of his most impactful concepts—the Power Five framework—and shares practical strategies to enhance your daily habits. These habits are simple, yet transformative, and have been a game-changer for both Chris and his clients. Whether you're a busy parent, a professional, or an athlete, you'll learn how to implement these principles to become the best version of yourself. Key Takeaways: 1. The Power Five Framework: Coach Chris explains his personal approach to daily habits using his “Power Five,” which includes: * Faith: Maintaining a spiritual compass to guide decision-making and stay grounded in personal values. * Family: Prioritizing relationships and creating meaningful connections with those closest to you. * Fitness: Consistent exercise as a cornerstone for physical and mental well-being. * Food: Eating healthy and making small, sustainable changes to improve nutrition. * Finance: Developing habits that improve productivity and contribute to financial health. 2. Why Daily Habits Matter: Habits aren’t about being perfect. Chris challenges the idea of following extreme trends (like ice baths or meditation at 4 am) and focuses on sustainable actions tailored to your lifestyle. He emphasizes that anchor habits, like movement and nutrition, help you progress without burning out. 3. 5 Action Steps to Improve Your Habits: If you're ready to make a change, Chris gives five actionable tips: * Move Daily: Whether it’s a workout, stretching, or a walk, find a way to get your body moving. * Eat Healthy: Aim for 80% of your diet to be nutritious. Start small—add fruits, veggies, or healthy proteins. * Drink Water: Aim for 80 oz daily, or half your body weight in ounces. * Read/Watch Something Inspiring: Fuel your mind with content that motivates and challenges your thinking. * Do Something for Your Future: Take one small step each day that brings you closer to your goals. 4. Growth Over Perfection: Chris highlights the importance of being consistent over being perfect. Progress happens when you create habits that are realistic and sustainable over time. His message? Slow progress is still progress, and long-lasting change comes from steady, intentional habits. Favorite Quote: “If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten.” – Jim Rohn Call to Action: If you found value in this episode, share it with someone looking to improve their daily habits.
