Acerca de Units of WWII

This podcast will take a deep dive into the wide variety of military units that served during WWII, both on the Allies and Axis. Here, I will discuss the training they went through, the unit's campaign, key battles, and include first hand accounts from veteran transcripts and memoirs. In the future, I hope to add a visual aspect showing the gear and uniforms of each unit, and maybe interview others who are well researched in other units. With the drums of war beating in Europe again, the 4th ID needed to be reformed and re-trained as a major build-up of US military forces. Training and reorganizing took place from 1940 up until their first deployment in WWII: D-Day.
