How does a movement built around a crucified man outlast the empire that killed Him? For 2,000 years, the church has endured opposition, division, and cultural change—yet it’s still here. What if the explanation isn’t strategy or strength, but something far less controllable? And what if the reason we don’t experience it the same way today has more to do with us than we realize?

Easter is the centerpiece of the Christian faith—but the first people to experience it didn’t see it coming. Forgiveness is a hard enough thing to do in any part of our lives, but there is one person we usually struggle the most to show forgiveness to: ourselves. How should we deal with the guilt, shame, and/or regret that can come with the bad choices we make in life?
