Episode 346: Double Down

Trying to keep things light this week as we dive down a rabbit hole of films. We look at the double down of the same stories from different studios. Nepo babies in within the film industry. Nate had to get some weather talk in there as well as a TikTok plug. We dive into the careers of actors who changed from the world of comedy into drama and when it really worked and which film pushed their career forward. It's another week of surviving the madness that is life. It's been a bit of a rough week for a few people. Including Sydney Sweeny and Glen Powell who didn't have the results they were wishing for over the weekend. We take a moment to look into the recent splitting of a party. Which takes us to the recent vote from today. We go into the history of a few movies and Huw spews a bit of hate towards Rose in the Titanic. Sam gets to go to Alcatraz for the first time. Looks like one of us has to play through the pain today. We go down the random rabbit holes of tiktok and reddit. This is what the dark place has done to us. Take a moment to go over the recent reviews of Ryan Murphy's new show. Kim K didn't survive the bar let alone those reviews either. Somehow we found our way into the world of Jackie Chan and a few other odd spots including a bit of politics. For that I'm sorry. Stay safe out there as the government has opened but the madness continues.

Nate is still on a social media boycott of information as we continue down the rabbit holes of conversation. We get into the recent passing of certain entertainers who we missed over the past few weeks. Then there is the random dive into Mark Dacascos which threw us both for a loop. Just to watch the world burn. We go into a little sports talk from the World Series to the rivals of Stefi Graf and Serena Williams.
