If God is So Good, Why is There Evil and Suffering?

If God is so good, how is there evil and suffering? If God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving, how can He allow such evil and suffering? Why doesn’t he just stop evil? End suffering? What Does it Mean to be a Christian?

Hey you! Thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to another podcast episode. This topic was such a driving force behind the creation of this podcast. I feel as if there is a very common misconception around what it means to be a Christian. I’ve heard a lot of my friends, family, acquaintances, and even strangers say that they feel as if Christianity is a set of rules they have to abide by or a certain lifestyle that they have to live. Some even go as far as to say that they feel as if Christianity isn’t important and that it wouldn’t add any value to their lives. I am hoping to be a different voice in this space and give you a different perspective on what it means to be a Christian and the value found in who Jesus is. In this episode, I talk about what I have personally come to understand it means to be a Christian in reading my Bible, the church hurt that I have experienced, the fact that I unintentionally created an idol of who I thought God was, and more.
