Episode 4: Dimitri Filipovic, Nick Ciavarella, Playoff Takeaways, and Personality

Sean and Robert kick the show off by talking about production improvements they can make after last week. Robert's wifi then decides to be funny by abandoning the segment, substantially improving its listenability. They then (6:30) discuss playoff broadcasts and Tom Dundon's "thriftiness" as recently discoverd by the Portland Trailblazers. Dimitri Filipovic of the PDOcast joins (36:30), and the group discusses how Dimitri got so much better at interviewing people than than people currently interviewing him, convincing NHL coaches and GMs to join his analytics conference, why Dallas isn't seen as more of a template for other franchises to model, and his thoughts on a few of the playoff series so far. After a brief interlude in which the guys reflect on how great Dimitri is, they are joined by their second great guest: Nick Ciavarella (1:25:01) of Skateskins and Just Dishin. They talk about the Buffalo Sabres, Nick's video work with the NHL (and others), and how more personality can find its way into the league. Check out Dimitri's Hockey PDOCast Patreon here. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
