Welcome to the podcast where we have honest conversations that help millennial women grow! Are you struggling with young adulthood? Do you feel like you have so much pent up anxiety & are struggling with the unknown? Do you feel the pull to better yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically? If so, you are in the right place! My name is Seanna Gregorio and I created this podcast to give voice to the everyday struggles millennial women face when trying to improve themselves. I'm currently going through my own self growth journey and want to talk about the things I've learned along the way! No, this isn't another self development podcast. We have real, uncensored conversations about damaging societal norms, everlasting truths, and all gray area in between. From social media to health to feeling completely behind in life -- we cover it all! Nothing is too deep or off limits. I'm not quite sure how to categorize this show. How many times have you tried to go on a health journey with the main focus being to lose weight as fast as possible?  I know I've done it tons of times. The truth is, focusing too much on weight loss be any means possible is not a health journey. It's just a recipe for misery and burnout.  In reality, none of us can have success with a healthy lifestyle until we completely change how we define and understand true health. For us women, I believe it's been sold to us as endless cardio and salads. It is truly NOT that.  Like I said, I've tried to lose weight tons of times and failed at each of them. THIS time, I tried to actually just get healthy, and lo and behold, I've lost over 20lbs as a side effect. Aaaaand it's been sustainable and has not felt restrictive! It all begins in your brain. We MUST look at health deeper than just weight loss! Parents, In-Laws, and Boundaries

Adulthood is mostly adapting to the constant change and evolution that life brings. When we move out, get married, have kids, etc. our lives of course are completelyyyyy different! Our parents' lives also change with us becoming adults and creating our own lives and families. I thought discussing these changes and the needs for boundaries and also GRACE with yourself and your family members was important as it seems like a lot of people our age have similar experiences. This episode is inspired by several conversations I've had with other young adults in the last few months. I noticed every person I spoke to was uncomfortable talking about when their loved ones may have crossed a boundary with them. I heard a lot of "I love my family buuuuut....." and then they would proceed to say whatever line was crossed.  Here's the thing: more often than not, our families come from a good place! However, we do have to set firm boundaries with them. As we grow up, get married, and have kids, our priorities shift. We have a new immediate family. Sometimes, our parents and in-laws can feel lost in that shuffle and we all feel weird addressing it with each other. This epsiode is to highlight that while it is uncomfortable, we can come to the conversation with grace. But we cannot avoid these conversations!
