Learning to Breathe with Grief: A Meditation for the Tender Heart
This one is for the tender-hearted.
If you’re moving through grief, loss, or one of those waves that arrives quietly and asks to be felt, I recorded a short guided meditation to offer some softness. It’s a space to pause, breathe, and let your body be met without pressure or timeline.
If it feels supportive, you can read my recent grief post here:
A gentle note before you press play.
This meditation moves through the landscape of grief and loss. If you are in a very raw, acute, or tender place right now, please be kind to yourself first — it is always okay to wait until you feel a little more resourced.
Before listening, you might want to:
* Set aside some quiet, uninterrupted time afterward
* Have a glass of water nearby
* Wrap yourself in a blanket or something comforting
* Let someone know you’re doing something tender today, if that feels supportive
At any point during the meditation, you are free to pause, open your eyes, or stop entirely. Tending to your nervous system is always the wisest choice.
If you are currently in a mental health crisis or feel unsafe, please reach out to a trusted person, therapist, or crisis line before continuing.
This is a space of no pressure and no timeline. Grief moves at its own pace — and so can you.
When you’re ready, I’ll meet you inside.
