Welcome to Season 9 of the Borah Podcast! This quick overview of the coming season offers new student voices to the Podcast! Student hosts and commentators have been working tirelessly to put together new bits, interviews, and a few surprises. #35-- 5.21.25-- “What Would James Madison Say?”
As the school year comes to an end and we set our sights on summer break, the Pridecast sits down once again with Borah social studies teacher, Korrin Rue to chat about the president's first 100 days and teaching a U.S. Government class in these politically charged times. We also offer a brief overview of sounds from the Borah Faculty vs. Seniors softball game, You can hear the sharp PING! of the bat on the ball -- and the snap of a few faculty ligaments. These are Borah Voices!
#34 -- 4.17.25 -- “Alum Spot: Boise Dev's Don Day”
For this Pridecast episode, we sit down with Don Day, founder and publisher of Boise Dev – an online news and growth publication for Boise and the Treasure Valley. A 1999 alum, Don began his journalism career as an editor for Borah High School’s newspaper, the Senator, where he honed his skills as both a thoughtful, investigative reporter and a techy, webmaster wizard. And his trajectory of success continues to rise these 25 years later. These are Borah voices.
#33 -- 1.15.25 -- “Peachey and King: Mix Tape #2”
If you’ve ever heard an old favorite song and it reminded you of a bygone time, or event -- the high school dance, the first kiss, your first job -- you understand the special relationship between music and the human psyche. And if, like us, you constantly keep shuffling and reshuffling pieces of music to form the soundtrack of your life (come on, we’ve all done it), then you’ve come to the right place! In this second installment of Peachey and King’s “Mix Tape”, Kris King asks Brad Peachey to “pick the song” to be played for various scenarios. Have a pencil and paper ready because you’ll want a list of these songs by the end of the episode. These are Borah Voices.
Season 8 is coming! 11.5.24
Welcome to Season 8 of the Borah Pridecast -- the only school podcast in the Boise School District. This season promises to be -- as the kids say -- totally FIRE (or is it rizz?). Now would be a good time to subscribe to the Pridecast, and its sister podcast, Borah Voices, which is totally written, recorded, edited, and produced by Borah High School students. These are Borah Voices!
