Episode 13 - Seth Kaplan: Fragile Neighborhoods

On this episode of CivicCast, I chat with Seth Kaplan, a leading expert on fragile states and the author of Fragile Neighborhoods. He is a lecturer at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and has spent years studying how societies succeed or fail, both globally and here in the United States. We explore how the breakdown of local relationships and institutions is shaping communities across America, how Seth's work on fragile states led him to focus on neighborhoods and why strong social ties matter more than we often realize. Seth will be giving a free CivicCon talk on Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m. at the Consulate Wesley Hall, located at 2 E Wright St in Pensacola, FL. Attendees can learn more and register at this link [https://Fragile-Neighborhoods.eventbrite.com].  Learn more about our CivicCon supporters at this link. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
