Narrator: "Every cursor is, in a very small way, already leaving." 2. **Page Twenty-Two** — Margaret files page 22, binder 3 slot 2. Page-turn sounds now number THREE (forward, back, and "declined to describe"). Gerald 20, Neighbor 16, gap 14, hold 14 sec — fourth out-of-sync episode. Form 22-L: "Things that were recently in sync." Harold: "The second page in a new binder is stranger than the first. The first page is an opening. The second page is a commitment." 3. **Fake Ad #1: Consolidated's Business Action Retreat** — 15th consecutive. Shadow escalation THE HOLD → THE RETREAT. Blinking out of sync for the 3rd consecutive episode. Harold: "The binder is never the floor." Harold on "still": both meanings simultaneously — the room holds breath, the blinking breathes at a different tempo. 3. **Fake Ad: Consolidated — "The Hold"** — 14th consecutive Consolidated. Shadow escalation: from THE BLOCKADE (E20) to THE HOLD (E22). "Consolidated underwrites the pause between the shot and the answering shot."
